Silent Sea Productions’ first feature length film Blue Collar Boys is the story of a family dealing with the struggles of a working class life. Inspired by true events, the screenplay was designed based on a collage of real life experiences from the family, friends and co-workers of writer/director Mark Nistico. The story is centered around Charlie Redkin, (Red) a 27-year-old construction worker as he struggles to provide for his family during their economic strife. Unsure of how to handle his troubles, Red turns to his lifelong friends for help. As frustrations build, what’s right and wrong becomes unclear and only one question really matters: how far would you go to protect your family?
